Healthcare group with approx. 2,000 employees across Mexico, Germany, and the U.S.

Key Challenge

After acquiring a U.S. subsidiary and during the pandemic, the organisation faced major integration issues, cultural misalignment, and a 47% turnover rate in 2022, resulting in financial losses and missed growth targets.

The organisation encountered significant operational and talent-related pressures:

  • Workforce attrition reached 62%, driven by uncertainty and organisational misalignment
  • Financial losses of approximately €2.4 million
  • High dependency on the parent organisation
  • Loss of critical clients and limited new business acquisition
  • Rising indirect costs due to knowledge loss and workforce instability

The business required urgent stabilisation while repositioning itself as a leading healthcare services provider.

Root Cause

Our diagnostic identified several underlying issues:

  • Absence of a shared organisational vision post-acquisition
  • Fragmented leadership alignment between stakeholders and management
  • Weak cultural cohesion across merged entities
  • Inefficient organisational structures impacting speed and decision-making
  • Lack of a clear workforce and talent management strategy

These factors contributed to declining engagement, reduced performance, and talent attrition.

It was an honor and privilege to work with two such talented,
experienced and intelligent individuals. Their superb guidance did not live in the
clouds, but rather drove real results, both immediate and setting the platform for
longer term growth as well. I would work with them again on any opportunity I have.

Was mich antreibt:
