Global provider of cleaning technology with 14,000 employees in over 70 countries

Key Challenge:

To maintain its global competitive edge, the client sought to establish a unified international learning academy. The strategic intent was to dismantle fragmented, decentralised training entities across various national subsidiaries and regions, consolidating them into a single corporate ecosystem. This new entity needed to foster a cohesive global learning culture and systematically build the future-proof competencies required by the workforce.

To achieve this, the executive team required an agile, expert advisory partner to rigorously review, audit, and pressure-test their initial HR Target Operating Model (TOM) concepts against current market benchmarks and best practices.

Root Cause:

Before engagement, the client’s educational and upskilling efforts were highly siloed. Decentralised regional training centres operated independently without standardised processes, uniform quality controls, or a clear corporate Unique Selling Proposition (USP). This lack of a centralised HR operating infrastructure resulted in misaligned commercial focus, inconsistent employee development tracking, and a lack of transparency regarding the financial return on investment (ROI) of corporate learning.

What We Have Done:

Ewolves deployed an agile, expert-led advisory approach to review and finalise the HR Target Operating Model for the global academy, focusing on five critical strategic pillars:

  • Strategic Alignment & USP Definition: Formulated the foundational strategic direction and carved out the academy’s unique value proposition within the global enterprise.

  • Customer Segmentation & Product Portfolio: Audited internal target groups to define precise customer segments and design a tailored, high-impact learning product portfolio.

  • Volume Forecasting & ROI Analysis: Evaluated throughput capacities and projected financial metrics to secure measurable business outcomes and long-term commercial sustainability.

  • Governance, Roles & Process Architecture: Map out clean-cut corporate roles, individual responsibilities, and standardised, lean operational processes.

  • Organisational Design & Sizing: Structured the overarching organisational hierarchy and determined optimal department sizing to ensure maximum operational agility.

Was mich antreibt:
